Ektron CMS400.Net Reserved Files and Folders

The following files and folders are pre-installed/configured by the Ektron site setup. Most of them can be configured through the web.config.

Folders

%WebRoot%/Assets/ DMS storage location of public uploaded assets
%Drive%:/%CustomPath%/AssetLibrary/%SiteName%/ DMS storage location defined during site setup
%WebRoot%/AssetManagement/ DMS application files used to upload/view DMS assets
%WebRoot%/UploadedFiles/ Where the uploaded files are saved
%WebRoot%/UploadedImages/ Where the uploaded images are saved
%WebRoot%/PrivateAssets/ DMS storage location of secured/private uploaded assets
%WebRoot%/Widgets/ Custom page builder widgets
%WebRoot%/Workarea/ Central location where you most tasks for managing the website are performed. Normally do not modify code here.
%WebRoot%/XmlFiles/ Location Ektron looks for custom ekml and xslt files.

%WebRoot%/Instrumentation.config Error, trace and event logging configuration
%WebRoot%/objectFactory.config Register custom events within the CMS
%WebRoot%/Shipment.config Custom shipping provider configuration
%WebRoot%/Web.config Configuration file for the website (standard ASP.Net web configuration)
